BT are giving customers the chance to win tickets to the Isle of Wight Festival 2012.

Organisers have confirmed that Primal Scream will headline the Big Top at Isle of Wight Festival 2012.
“Primal Scream have influenced countless bands and artists and been widely acclaimed by critics as one of the defining groups of the 1990s. Now the band returns to the island and takes their inimitable style to headline the Big Top on Thursday night,” the published.
DJ Fresh was also added to the bill on the same stage.
Also confirmed to perform are The Pierces who will take a slot on The Garden Stage.

Sky have confirmed that they will broadcast this year’s Isle of Wight Festival (2012).
The festival will be shown on Sky Arts and even more excitingly on Sky 3D! Each channel will broadcast around 6hrs of footage for each of the days the event takes place.
“The Isle Of Wight Festival is the most dynamic and exciting festival in the UK: we knew that with this year’s lineup, Sky Arts coverage had to be bigger, better and bolder than ever before,” said Sky channel director James Hunt.
“Broadcasting the festival live for six hours a day not only confirms Sky Arts as the destination for great music coverage, with 3D it also brings viewers closer to the real-life festival experience.”
Bruce Springsteen, Pearl Jam and Tom Petty were confirmed as headliners this year after organiser John Giddings revealed he wanted an all American rock headline theme.

Another handful of bands have been officially confirmed for the Isle of Wight Festival 2012.
Enter Shikari, Katy B, Ash, Pulled Apart By Horses and The Virginmarys will all take a place on the Big Top, with New York Dolls, Christina Perri, Stackridge and Beth Hart also added to the Garden Stage.
This years festival will be headlined by three American rock bands, Pearl Jam, Tom Petty and Bruce Springsteen.

Isle of Wight Festival 2012 organiser John Giddings has confirmed that this year’s line-up will not contain any acts that have come to fame through appearing on the X-Factor.
Despite a few X-factor stars appearing in previous years, the boss said this will not be the case this time round.
“I did a couple last year, but I felt a bit uncomfortable about that this year. I don’t mind having R&B acts on the bill.”
“I think other festivals do straight pop acts and I was backstage at a couple of festivals and they seemed to be full of people I’d seen on TV,” added Giddings, suggesting that he doesn’t want the same thing at IOW Festival 2012.
A range of acts have already been confirmed for the festival including Jessie J, Tom Petty and Pearl Jam.
This year the festival moves to the 22nd, 23rd and 24th June 2012, taking the place of Glastonbury in its absence.
